CHORDFEEL
Privacy Policy
CHORDFEEL is made by Future Is Custom. We collect no data from the app. There is no account, no sign-in and no analytics.
Microphone
The Tuner listens to your instrument through the microphone, with your permission, to show the note you are playing. The sound is analyzed on your device as it is heard. It is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere.
MIDI and Bluetooth
Notes from a connected keyboard are read on your device to name the chord. They are not stored or sent anywhere. With your permission, CHORDFEEL uses Bluetooth only to connect a wireless MIDI keyboard.
Your charts
Progressions you build are kept on your device and, if iCloud is on, in your own iCloud account so your other devices see them. We cannot see them.
Purchases
CHORDFEEL Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment and keeps the purchase record. We receive no payment details.
Settings
Your preferences (theme, tuning, tempo and the like) are stored on your device.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your charts and settings stay on your device, and your charts in your own iCloud, until you delete them. Deleting a chart in CHORDFEEL removes it from your device and from your iCloud, and your other devices drop it too. Deleting the app removes what it keeps on that device. Charts in your iCloud stay there and come back if you install the app again, so to remove them for good, delete them in CHORDFEEL first.
You can turn off CHORDFEEL's access to the microphone or to Bluetooth at any time in your device's Settings › Privacy & Security.
We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to keep, hand over or delete. If you have a question about your data, write to us.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
If you write to us
If you email us for support, we use your address and your message only to reply to you.
The feedback form on our support page runs on Tally, a form service, which receives what you type. We use your answers only to read your feedback and, if you leave your email, to reply.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with its date.
